I walked in the woods at the night,
And I beheld creatures of great wonder there,
Colourful glorious creatures of bright darkness,
I spied crying faeries, and joyous banshees,
I saw a gnome playing chess,
With a bleeding dragon,
I spied villains saving damsels,
From Knights in shining armour,
I witnessed giants with the wings of Faeries,
and Trooping Faeries bare peace,
I know not where these things came forth from,
But I watched in amazement, these things strange,
And by the cemetery, werewolves licked me hand,
And the fates and I had tea,
In the shadow from the moon,
Which shone as bright as any sun,
I talked ages with vampires,
and I spoke with the sweet trees,
I took wise teachings from the local fool,
And placed the dunce cap on the genius,
And danced with the trolls,
And played the guitar with a mythic band,
And whispered happy nothings to the gravestones,
Of the cemetery spelled with words,
Of a time that is gone,
But interesting things have come,
And they are staying,
